Charles, a retiree, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes a mole in a secret investigation at a nursing home..
I loved it!
Remake of Salainen agents vanhainkodissa (2020).
What I expected was a comedy full of clichés about someone on an undercover mission, his crazy antics & and so on
Instead we get a series about a man who not only helped others, but also helped himself heal from the loss of his wife.
This great series was not full of laughs & corny lines, during some parts I was emotional because of the way the topics were handled – like the resident with memory problems
However, not everything was serious that made you feel depressed or bored going through the episodes, that’s why the series was worth watching because you wanted to see how it played out – Who stole it, etc.
The cast was great, the cinematography & locations beautifully done
I really hope they make another season & bring the same great mix of laughs, emotions, script, locations & cast as they did on Charles’s next detective style adventures as they did on this one.
